An eCommerce WordPress theme is a group of page, post and category templates that have been designed to showcase products as well as traditional pages and blog entries. Using WordPress as an eCommerce platform has a variety of pros and cons and is not a good solution for many merchants. However, if your shop meets the right criteria, WordPress can be incredibly powerful, more powerful than virtually any shopping cart I’ve ever worked with.
